🎉 SGDQ 2025 Wrap-Up: Over $2.4 Million Raised for MSF!

The curtains have closed on Summer Games Done Quick 2025, and what a spectacular ride it was! After a week packed with glitchless runs, couch chaos, wholesome hype, and mind-blowing speed, the event concluded with $2,436,614 raised for Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) — and donations are still trickling in.

That pushes Games Done Quick’s all-time total to over $56 million for charities worldwide, with $26 million+ specifically for MSF. Unbelievable work from the runners, the tech crew, the hosts, the couch commentators, the organizers, and — of course — you, the community. ❤️👏

🎮 SGDQ 2025 Highlights

  • Final Run Showstopper: Deltarune Chapters 1–4 All Bosses Glitchless — Shayy, WooffleDee, Ashmichda, and Quacksilver delivered a memorable finale, packed with passion and polish.
  • Crowd Favorites:
    • Celeste – All Hearts Race by LMJacks and Yujene — a lightning-fast duel ending in a razor-close finish.
    • Mario Kart World by PeasSMB — cow puns, crowd energy, and a personal best. What more could you ask for?
    • Final Fantasy IX run by Sylleath — where the $1.5 million milestone was shattered live.
    • Super Mario 64 Blindfolded by Bubzia — breaking the 11-minute barrier in a 1 Star run (10:32). Completely unreal.
    • Checkpoint News Segment after SM64 — community favorite for its pure hilarity.
  • Bonus Hype: Czikubi’s Super Mario Bros. 3 – All Fortresses run was so good it triggered an Any% incentive before it even started. Mental.
